Barcelona are on the brink of signing Deportivo La Coruna defender Sidnei.

AS says Sidnei has agreed personal terms with Barca and could be in the city today for a medical.

The Brazilian had a season with Espanyol and still has two years to run on his Benfica deal.

Depor are ready to let him go, as they will owe Benfica €3 million to sign Sidnei outright.

The 25 year-old could join Barca as a replacement for the unsettled Marc Bartra.
