Atletico Madrid have clinched the signing of Uruguay U20 captain Juan Manuel Sanabria.
After training for the first time with his new teammates this Monday morning, Sanabria headed to the Atletico’s offices, which are still situated at the old Vincente Calderón stadium, to put his signature on a five-year contract, which will keep him at the club until he is 23 years old.
He has signed for Atlético thanks to a collaboration agreement with Nacional of Uruguay. The agreement gives Atlético first preference to promising talent at the Uruguayan club, in exchange for an undisclosed fee.
