Atletico Madrid and Chelsea have reached an agreement for Alvaro Morata.

Cadena SER says the Chelsea man signed a contract with the Rojiblanco on Saturday.

Cast out by manager Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea, both Barcelona and Atletico were keen on signing him.

Barça remained in the hunt until the last minute, but the forward decided to accept the offer from Atletico.

Pending the official announcement, Morata is expected to be presented in the coming days as Diego Simeone strengthens a forward line which already included Griezmann and Diego Costa, although the latter is sidelined with an injury.
