Burnley have completed the signing of Aston Villa fullback Matt Lowton.
The Birmingham Mail says the full-back has joined the newly-relegated Clarets on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee, believed to be an initial £1 million plus add ons.
Speaking to the Burnley official website, Lowton said: “It's been a little frustrating lately but the manager here said I'd play a lot of football and I'm really looking forward to getting started.
“I had two years left on my contract, but I haven't played enough football in the last year and I've worked hard growing up to be a footballer.
“I had a fantastic experience at Villa and the first season I was there I played pretty much every minute of every game."
