Arsenal have agreed to send Wojciech Szczesny back to Roma on-loan.

Il Tempo says Roma have struck a deal with the Gunners.

The two clubs will split Szczesny's £2.5m-per-season salary while Arsenal will net around £800,000 (€1m) for the loan renewal.

Roma will also have the option to exercise a £12.5m (€15m) permanent option at the end of the campaign.

It is claimed the deal should be wrapped up by tomorrow, reports the Daily Star.
