Doncaster take ex-NYRB keeper Coundoul on trial

Championship strugglers Doncaster Rovers have taken Senegalese goalkeeper Bouna Coundoul on trial.

Sky Sports reports that the 29-year old, who most recently played in North America's MLS with New York Red Bulls last year, will train under the watchful eye of manager Dean Saunders who is looking for some reinforcements.

Rovers currently sit second bottom on the tier two table and could use the experience of Senegal international Coundoul who has spent his entire professional career in the USA with Colorado Rapids before joining New York.
