Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll remains hopeful of landing Hull City veteran Dean Windass.

Hull have given O'Driscoll permission to discuss a loan move with Windass, who scored the goal that took the Tigers into the top flight.

Windass, 39, is out of the picture at City, but has been reluctant to join Rovers.
