Doncaster seek to re-sign Man City's Mills

Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll is hoping to re-sign Manchester City defender Matthew Mills.

The 21-year-old enjoyed two loan spells at the Keepmoat Stadium last season before returning to City to be assessed by Mark Hughes.

It now seems that City are ready to sell Mills, and O'Driscoll is looking to push through a permanent deal.

"They have decided that he is going to be too far down the pecking order and that was the first indication that Manchester City were willing to sell him," said O'Driscoll. "Hopefully we can move it forward as quickly as possible."
