Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp is reportedly having a medical with Championship rivals Southampton.
The 25-year old has been the subject of much interest this winter after emerging on the radar of some Premier League clubs but it appears as though he will now be making the move to St Mary's Stadium.
Saints boss Nigel Adkins is desperate to strengthen his promotion-chasing squad and after recently missing out on Celtic's Gary Hooper has almost lured Sharp to the south coast.
