Doncaster Rovers striker El-Hadji Diouf has revealed that he has held talks with ambitious Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala.
The 30-year old former Liverpool, Bolton, Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers man is on a three-month loan with Championship Doncaster but could be on the move to Russia in January.
"I am in contact with Anzhi officials," Diouf told Senegalese newspaper The Observer.
Diouf, who is also attracting interest from MLS club LA Galaxy, is wanted by Doncaster boss Dean Saunders on a more permanent deal after netting twice in four appearances for Rovers.
