Doncaster Rovers have landed Sunderland youngster Lynden Gooch on a one-month loan deal.

The 20-year-old, who made his debut for the Black Cats in August's 6-3 win over Exeter City in the League Cup, has represented the United States up to Under-23 level.

He spent time on loan with Gateshead last term, scoring once in seven games.

Lynden could make his Doncaster debut in Saturday's trip to struggling Fleetwood in League One.
