Wolves central defender Jason Shackell has extended his loan deal which will see him stay at Doncaster Rovers until January 2010.

The 25-year-old made his debut against Preston in the 1-1 draw and has missed just one game since his arrival from Molineux

He told the club's official website: "It (extending the loan deal) has been talked about over the last few days. The gaffer wanted to extend the loan deal and I have enjoyed the last few weeks.

"I'm happy to stay, play some games and help the team whilst putting in some good performances for myself as well."
