Doncaster eager to extend deal for Man Utd keeper Johnstone

Doncaster Rovers hope to extend the loan of Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

Johnstone, 20, has played five times for Rovers since joining on January 31st.

And with Ross Turnbull still struggling with injury, Doncaster boss Paul Dickov is keen to keep the United man.

He said: "If Ross is not going to be fully fit, we will try and extend Sam's loan.

"Sam has come in and been fantastic."
