Doncaster boss O'Driscoll held Burnley talks

Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll is under consideration for the Burnley job.

The Lancashire Telegraph says while betting has been suspended on Huddersfield manager Lee Clark, he faces competition from O'Driscoll and out-of-work former Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws.

O'Driscoll, who worked with winger Wade Elliott at Bournemouth, is regarded as a football purist, getting his sides to play a similar style of football that Burnley fans became used to under Owen Coyle.

It is understood that he has been interviewed, while Laws is believed to have had a second interview.
