Doncaster Rovers hope to trump Wigan Athletic for El Hadji Diouf today.

The Daily Mail says Diouf is talking to Doncaster Rovers and Wigan over a potential move.

Diouf is keen to stay in the north-west but a move to lowly Doncaster is a realistic proposition and new manager Dean Saunders would like to have a deal wrapped up today ahead of their game against Hull City, but that may stall if Wigan make a rival offer.
