Following an unsuccessful spell at Celtic, Massimo Donati wants to return to AC Milan. The midfielder claims Milan have already been in touch with his representatives about the prospect of bringing him back to Italy.

He told the Sunday Post: "It is up to the Celtic management to decide - but if Milan asked me to go, I would say yes.

"I haven't spoken to anyone at Milan directly but I know they have been in touch with my agents.

"Italy is my country, and Milan is a big name. It is clear I would like this to happen."
