Former Italy coach Roberto Donadoni is seeking talks with Portsmouth owner Sacha Gaydamak.
The Mirror says he is keen on landing a Premier League post just months after missing out on the West Ham vacancy. Donadoni, 45, is willing to take on Pompey despite their current problems on the pitch and with the prospect of Gaydamak selling the club.
The Italian, who had four different spells in club management in his homeland, can step in without any problems over compensation.
