Napoli coach Roberto Donadoni is excited about the potential at his new club.
"With great directors like [Pierpaolo] Marino, we can come together and build something wonderful for the future," he told Il Giornale newspaper.
"In recent years the club has made an incredible climb back up to Serie A and can achieve a lot more. The people must be grateful to this side for all it has done up until now."
At one stage this season Napoli were in the top spots, but a poor run of form saw them plummet down to 11th place.
Now Donadoni makes his San Paolo debut against his former club Milan and is settling in to his first job since leaving the Italy bench.
"It was not an easy start for me, but after a few days I got the feeling I had never stopped coaching.
"In professional terms my time at the Azzurri was an important and gratifying adventure. They were two very intense years, but all that counts now is Napoli and diving back into work with real enthusiasm."
