France coach Raymond Domenech insists he hasn't been offended by harsh words coming from David Trezeguet after omitting the Juventus striker from his squad this week.
"I love the players who have pride in themselves," said Domenech. "With his words, Trezeguet showed he wasn't prepared to accept the decision. He has great pride.
"I haven't said that he can't win his place back, or that he doesn't have the necessary quality. It's just that there's other players ahead of him and there's a lot of competition."
