France coach Raymond Domenech has urged Inter Milan midfielder Patrick Vieira to sort out his future. Vieira is a target for Tottenham and Arsenal and Domenech explained his omission from France's latest squad.

Domenech said: "We know how important he is for us but Patrick needs to play a lot to feel good and get back to his best level, which is that of the captain of the French team.

"When he plays for his club, he has to keep playing, multiplying the matches. I really hope he will start playing, whether it's at Arsenal or Inter, as much as possible because we know his potential.

"He's the one who decides which club to join. It's his life."
