Darren Dods has dismissed reports he is keen to quit Dundee United in search of first-team football. "When Inverness saw I wasn't in the team they got in touch with the manager to see if I was available but he wanted to keep me," the 33 year old told the Daily Record.
"That suits me because I am happy here and want to fight for my place in the team.
"I love it at Dundee United. I get on well with the boys and think things are going to improve here.
"The gaffer has built a big squad to get competition for places because that keeps all of us on our toes. It's good for the club and the players because it keeps standards high."
