Liverpool will be having a documentary filmed for the FA Cup final.

The club have announced they are to allow unprecedented behind-the-scenes dressing-room access to American broadcaster FOX Soccer for a six-part documentary.

Cameras will start filming next month to capture preparations for, and the playing of, the FA Cup final before the TV crews move on to cover Liverpool's pre-season tour of the United States and Canada and the start of the 2012/13 campaign.

"I expect it will be compelling programming as Liverpool will provide unprecedented access," said chairman Tom Werner.

"This will be an amazing opportunity for our fans to see a new side of the club and for us to reach out to many more potential supporters around the world who will come to understand what makes Liverpool FC so special."
