There was a mix up at Valencia over their deal for Fulham defender Philippe Senderos.
The Daily Mail says Senderos has joined Valencia from Premier League strugglers Fulham on a permanent transfer.
The Swiss international has signed a permanent deal with the La Liga side having previously played for Arsenal, AC Milan and Everton.
However, Valencia later tweeted a picture of their deadline day signings, and used a photo of Brede Hangeland instead of Senderos.
