Djurgarden defender Daniel Amartey is excited by the interest of Liverpool.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is having the Ghana youngster scouted leading up to the January market.
It's suggested Liverpool will seek to buy Amartey before immediately sending him back on-loan to Djurgarden until the 18 year-old qualifies for a European passport.
"My hard work and determination has really paid off and I'm happy to be on Liverpool's radar," Amartey told Goal Ghana.
"I've been in Europe for two years and I am glad that I've made an impression."
Interestingly, Djurgarden enjoy a formal partnership with Manchester City.
