Schalke striker Mario Gavranovic is being tracked by Arsenal.
It's emerged Gunners defender Johan Djourou has urged manager Arsene Wenger to consider Gavranovic ahead of the summer market.
The striker is eligible to play senior international football for Croatia or Switzerland having played nine times for the Swiss under-21 side.
Schalke rate Gavranovic in the £7 million class.
