Djourou insists Arsenal can handle Champions League qualifier pressure

Arsenal defender Johan Djourou insists they can handle their Champions League qualifier.

It is the first time Arsenal have had to qualify since 2009, when they beat Celtic 5-1 over two legs - and defeat would be a disaster.

Djourou said: "We have to be in the Champions League. It would be unthinkable not to be.

"We've been in this situation before against Celtic and it wasn't ideal, but we got the job done.

"We have to make sure we get through the play-off. We are quite capable of doing it - we have nothing to fear.

"We know last season was not the best but we have a chance to put that behind us now and have some success."
