Djite: Kewell has become my 'big brother'

Bruce Djite has revealed how Harry Kewell has become somewhat of a 'big brother' to him since he has been in Turkey. Djite plays with Genclerbirligi in the Turkish Super Lig whilst Kewell plies his trade with rivals Galatasaray and the two have become close since making the move to Turkey.

"I have a biological big brother back home in Australia but Harry is my big brother here," Djite said.

"He's offered me loads of advice and when he talks you listen because his advice is second to none.

"If I'm not in the starting team or whatever, he helps me deal with everything that comes my way. He's been through the lot, European Champions League finals, the World Cup.

"It's fantastic to have somebody of his calibre and character phoning to say 'how are you going?' or 'what's happening this weekend'.

"It gives me a real boost to have him in my corner. He's done so much in his life and his passion is rubbing off on me."
