Sylvain Distin has hit out at Portsmouth teammates over their late season fade-out.

"It is exactly the same as what happened for the past three or four weeks now. We didn't deserve to win and we didn't deserve anything at all," said the defender.

"We didn't perform, there was a lack of desire, we didn't match their work-rate and it is getting dangerous for the final now.

"If you can't perform in the Premier League, how can we expect to perform in the final?

"We've stopped doing the basics well. If it worked from the start of the season, why should we stop now?"
