Manchester United reserves thumped Blackburn Rovers 4-0 yesterday.

Mame Biram Diouf's first-half double and late strikes from Jesse Lingard and Will Keane sent United marching into the Lancashire Senior Cup semi-finals at the expense of Blackburn Rovers.

Senegalese striker Diouf turned home a pair of clinical finishes at Leigh Sports Village to put the Reds firmly in control of proceedings, before Lingard and Keane added gloss to the scoreline in the dying stages.

Fullback Rafael enjoyed a full 90 minutes for United.
