The agent of Hannover striker Mame Biram Diouf is hoping to resurrect his move to Stoke City.
The Potters appeared to have walked away from the deal earlier this week over Hannover's behaviour.
But Kicker says Diouf's agent, Jim Solbakken, has maintained contact with Stoke chiefs Tony Scholes and Mark Cartwright.
Personal terms have been struck over a four-year deal worth €3.4 million-a-season, but a fee is still to be agreed with Hannover.
There remains hope among Diouf's camp that he can be in England on Friday for a Stoke medical.
