Pape Diop does not believe Obafemi Martins' defection to MLS will affect Levante too greatly.
The Nigerian striker has joined Seattle Sounders after scoring nine goals in 27 appearances for the Valencia-based club since arriving in September following a spell with Rubin Kazan but midfielder Diop insists the team can deal without his presence.
"We will not miss him. We knew that the issue with Oba was complicated. He eventually left," said Diop.
Levante went into the Europa League Round of 16 second leg against Rubin without Martins on Thursday night and were eventually beaten 2-0 to be dumped out of the competition.
