Dinamo Zagreb are climbing down over their asking price for Alen Halilovic.

The Mirror says Halilovic remains one of Europe's hottest properties, and it had looked like Real Madrid had stolen a march on Manchester United and Manchester City, by getting the nipper training at the Bernabeu.

The idea was that the proximity of fellow Croat Luka Modric might help Jose Mourinho land the deal for the Dinamo Zagreb kid.

But Dinamo's £12million valuation is very optimistic, with United and City reportedly considering bids of around £6m, so it looks like still being a case of 'nearest offer secures' young Alen.
