Dinamo Zagreb vice-president Zravko Mamic has revealed that a Barcelona representative made contact regarding Luka Modric last month in London.

Mamic told El Mundo Deportivo that a Barca official was at Wembley to see Modric star for Croatia in their victory over England and also spoke with him about the midfielder during their time in London.

The Dinamo chief informed Modric of Barca's interest and says the player was excited about the new developments. Indeed, Modric is prepared to snub a move to the Premiership if Barca come knocking at the end of this season.
