Dimitri Cheryshev has joined the backroom staff at Sevilla.

Cheryshev is the father of Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev.

The Russian will be one of the Basque coach's assistants alongside Juan Carlos Carcedo and Pablo Villanueva, collaborating both on the training pitch “and in the laboratory", reports Marca.

Cheryshev Jr spent two years on-loan with Sevilla.
