Dillon urges Reading fans to be patient over transfer news

Reading assistant boss Kevin Dillon has assured fans they will make quality signings this summer.

Dillon said: "People are wondering who we are going to sign and I'm sure Steve Coppell is on the case, but we're not rushing anything.

"Our squad was fantastic last year. Graeme Murty, Glen Little, Bobby Convey, Dave Kitson, Seol and Kevin Doyle have all suffered serious injuries and the biggest miss of all was Ibrahima Sonko.

"At one point we had seven first-team players out at the same time. But we showed we can cope with all these players missing and we kept winning games.

"When you think we will have all these players back then there really is no need to panic because we're in pretty good shape in my opinion."
