Digard waiting for Middlesbrough progress

Didier Digard is hoping there will be progress on his proposed move from Paris Saint-Germain to Middlesbrough in the next 24 hours.

The 21-year-old midfielder is reportedly desperate to leave the Parc des Princes after just one season in which he has been plagued by injury, forcing him out of most of the second half of the season.

Reports in the French press earlier in the month claimed that the former Le Havre player had travelled to Teesside to discuss a move.

On Monday Digard himself revealed his hopes that a deal would be done soon.

"I'm waiting (for the deal to be finalised). Things should start moving on Monday or Tuesday, I think," he told French newspaper Le Parisien.
