Eric Dier believes his Tottenham Hotspur teammate Hugo Lloris is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League.

The Frenchman was at his best in the 0-0 draw with AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, coming up with a brilliant pointblank save to deny Charlie Daniels, among other top quality stops.

In the wake of Lloris' match-saving performance, midfielder Dier was full of praise for his captain who is regarded as one of the top glovemen in England.

"He is very underrated," Dier said.

"Maybe it is because he is a very low key guy. I don't think there is a better keeper in the league."

Lloris has been behind a sturdy Spurs defence that has conceded just four goals in nine matches so far this season.
