Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone was delighted with their win over Champions League opponents FC Rostov.

With nine points from three Champions League matches, Los Rojiblancos are on the brink of qualification for the last 16 of UEFA's premier competition, but the coach is not taking anything for granted.

"We must keep our feet on the ground," the 46-year-old warned his players in his post-match press conference.

"It was a tough game.

"We knew what kind of opponents they would be and their way of playing.

"It isn't easy to get past a defence that is so closed."
