Villarreal goalkeeper Diego Lopez has urged Real Madrid's young players not to be afraid of leaving to further their careers. Lopez, now in the Spain squad, said: "The important thing is to realise that a big club like Real Madrid or Barcelona is not everything. There is little room for players and for a position as specific as mine, even less.
"I decided to quit, as did Pepe Reina (now of Liverpool). We are now in the national team.
"The youngsters must learn at a great club, but do not be afraid to leave."
