Diego: Juventus skipper Del Piero a genius

Diego has explained why he's taken the No28 shirt at Juventus.

The former Werder Bremen star said: "The 28 is the day of my birth and the two figures making up this number are 2 and 8, giving 10, which is my favorite.

"I wanted to join a traditional club with a long history, so I chose Juve."

On working with skipper Alessandro del Piero, Diego added: "I think I will have the privilege to play with a genius."
