Werder Bremen midfield ace Diego has told Claudio Ranieri he can adjust to Juventus' system next season.
Ranieri has cast doubt on signing the Brazilian because he feels he cannot find a place for the playmaker in his midfield.
But Diego said: "I do not know if I will join Juve. Actually, I do not even know if I'm really wanted by Juve. If that were the case, however, I would be very happy.
"Yes, my father went to Turin, but only to sort out a few things. He did not meet the leaders of Juve."
Asked about Ranieri's comments, Diego added: "In the past I have played in a 4-4-2 system without any problems, I think I can do well in central midfield with my characteristics."
