Sheffield United have fought off England's biggest clubs to secure superkid Diego De Girolamo to a pro deal.
Manchester United and Manchester City have failed to tempt De Girolamo away from Sheffield United, says The Sun.
The striker, 17, signed a three-year deal with the League One side, his first pro deal, snubbing Old Trafford and the Etihad.
Other Premier League clubs including Arsenal and Chelsea were also watching him.
Chesterfield-born De Girolamo, whose Italian dad played for Napoli, said: "I've been here 10 years and wanted to pledge my long-term future."
Blades boss Danny Wilson said: "Diego is certainly one for the future."
