Werder Bremen ace Diego is coy over the prospects of joining Real Madrid in the summer.

Real coach Bernd Schuster has confessed he's a big fan of the Brazil international, who said: "It's difficult for me to talk about Real. It is not about me. The decision must be made with the two clubs.

"There were many things reported after Schuster said that he appreciated my game. But then nothing official happened.

"I have to be very careful because anything I say about Real could be misunderstood in Germany."
