Chelsea striker Diego Costa has deflected praise coming his way to his teammates.

Costa's performances throughout the campaign could see the forward on the shortlist for Player of the Year recognition.

Costa insists his Chelsea team-mates deserve a lot of the credit for his form and said: "I adapted quite well to the system so I don't think it was all down to me.

"It's also down to the manager and the rest of the team. Without the team behind you it would be impossible to do something like that."
