Diego Costa declares: I've NEVER said I want to leave Chelsea

Diego Costa insists he is now ready to commit to Chelsea.

Costa, who has two years left on his contract worth £150,000-a-week, has appeared to do a U-turn and has playing for Spain at the World Cup on his mind.

He said: "At no point have I said anything or that I want to leave. I hope I can carry on playing, there is a World Cup next year and I hope to be there.

"Now is not the right time to go to China. The Chinese Super League is growing but like I said my intention is to play in the World Cup.

"There are possibilities if I carry on playing and scoring (at the highest level). I know it's not easy with the Spain squad but I'm still young so I either stay here or go back to Atletico."
