Dickov set to leave Man City

Paul Dickov is set to leave Manchester City.

The Daily Mail says Dickov's days at Manchester City appear to be numbered after incoming manager Sven Goran Eriksson met his new charges.

Eriksson, who will not be officially appointed until former Thai prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra's takeover is complete, is believed to have told the club's prospective new owners that the first team squad needs a complete overhaul in order to become competitive.

Dickov is likely to be the first to exit, while midfielders Ousmane Dabo and Didi Hamann are also under threat.
