Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov is confident Lucas Neill will bring plenty of experience with him to the Keepmoat Stadium.
Watford defender Neill has joined Championship rivals Doncaster until April 22 as he looks to get some regular game time in a bid to enhance his chances of playing at the 2014 World Cup with Australia.
Dickov played with the 36-year old Aussie centre-back at Blackburn Rovers so is well-versed to pass judgment on the attributes he will bring to South Yorkshire.
"Lucas is as fit now as I have ever seen him, which is credit to him and his attitude," Dickov said.
"I played with him at Blackburn and I know him very well.
"He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the game and is a great person both on and off the field."
Dickov added: "There were a lot of other Championship clubs interested in signing him but he wanted to come to Doncaster."
