Lamine Diatta says he could extend his stay at Newcastle United beyond the end of the season.
"We will discuss my long-term future when the season ends," he told L'Equipe. "I played the ACN and then trained at Lormont, in Bordeaux's suburbs.
"My priority was Newcastle. I will play at centre back. I don't know if I'll be able to start against Liverpool on Sunday because my new club have to receive a letter from the Turkish FA before Friday.
"A game with Senegal is planned on March 26, but I'll give the priority to my club."
