Arsenal have slapped a £6 million price-tag on midfielder Lassana Diarra.
Midfielder Diarra is also unhappy that financial promises made to him and his agent have not been met - and he is desperate to make a quick exit.
Diarra, brought to the Premier League by Chelsea from Le Havre in July 2005 for £1million, has been linked with Arsenal's North London rivals Tottenham.
But he is in big demand elsewhere with Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce and Aston Villa monitoring the situation.
Monaco and Paris St German are also keen but the player would prefer to stay in the Premier League.
