West Ham United midfielder Momo Diame admits they need to improve their finishing after being dumped out of the Capital One Cup by Sheffield United.
With striker Andy Carroll out for four months and goalscoring skipper Kevin Nolan now sidelined with a fractured shoulder, the pressure is on new signings Enner Valencia, Diafra Sakho and Mauro Zarate to make an early impact.
Diame said: "We just missed too many chances (against Sheffield United). We missed chances against Tottenham and didn't win the game, we took our chances against Crystal Palace and we won.
"We have to keep focused and keep going. We're doing great work with Teddy Sheringham in front of goal, so we have to keep working and try to score goals."
